I look forward to that first cup of coffee every morning. I drink my coffee black and it's piping hot when it's first poured so I have to wait 5 minutes for it to cool down.
You know what the worst is?
Forgetting about said coffee and taking a sip 20 minutes later only to get a surprise mouthful of ice cold bitterness!
Give me a little whip cream and caramel sauce and I'll happily drink cold coffee but black cold coffee? Not so much.

I agree. Even my coffee that is doctored with vanilla creamer is still awful when it's cold.
I was just thinking the same thing - sat down at my desk & my coffee from earlier is cold!
Do you think that is a sign of what is to come when 40 hits? Forgetting things? There are some things I can choose to forget, or would like to, but things like this? Maybe not so much.
I only drink my coffee from insulated cups because I need it hot and I don't drink it fast enough for it to stay hot.
