When I first started blogging... in 2006 there were so many blog posts I could barely keep up with the reading! These days it seems blogging is being replaced with tweeting. Hell. I'm guilty too! I think I was googling "monograms" and ended up on Preppy Cafe where I found Lisagh who opened my eyes to the whole phenom.
I've "met" so many awesome ladies and one awesome guy (we all know who he is, right?). I've "listened" to online squabbles and luckily (hopefully) avoided them myself. And I've taken a peak into the lives of a few pretty amazing life styles - who remembers "Confessions of a Not-so-desperate Housewife?" Oh, to have her life, right? I wonder where/how she is? I wonder if she got bored with blogging?
Is that what it is? People are bored with blogging?
TG for Lisagh who I can count on for a post a day and I am hoping she doesn't stop. No pressure dear friend. No pressure.
So is that it? Is blogging becoming so 2000 and late?

I still enjoy reading blogs soooooo much! I love Twitter too.
I'll second that - TG for Lisagh. Love her blog posts everyday. They are perfect.
Get this: a few weeks ago I got an email telling me that Corrie (real name of "Not So Desperate Housewife") was following me on Twitter. I couldn't believe it because she had all but disappeared. So of course, I started following her. Unfortunately I have never seen one tweet from her and she just disappeared again. Weird, huh?
I love Twitter. I still (after all these years) love blogging. Not so into Facebook though although I do log in every now and then.
I don't know how long I can keep it up, but as long as people don't mind the trends I go through (this is me breaking up with my boyfriend, this is me doing crafts, this is me live blogging every minute of my day, this is me making cookies, etc.) I think I'll be around for a while! xoL
That is so funny!! Lisagh was one of my first blog reads, and I'm pretty sure I got there by googling monograms too! Great minds, you know.
I think we should keep blogging forever. It will soon be so retro.
I love blogging! I love reading blogs, and I hope it isn't a thing of the past :(
I wonder where Corrie is also? I would drool over her clothes. Her blog is private right now. Don't know if she updates it or not. Some people commented that it was all made up. I don't care-- I loved looking at the clothes.
I'm running out of things to say on my blog. Since my daughter got rid of her loser boyfriend life is just not as interesting. (not that I'm complaining!) I also think some of the people who started talking about all the shallow postings scared me away. But hey, when you're about to have your last one graduate high school and your oldest graduate from college, where do you go from there!
I adore Twitter, but blogs are so much more intimate--I love to see what people are up to what they're wearing, how they're decorating. I'm a total slut for shelter and design blogs, although they're not helping my real life, as I'm now convinced that I'm supposed to be living in a far more glamourous dwelling than my own (with wet ski socks draped over the mantle and boot liners all over the floor).
Hell, though, I'm in my 30s, so who am I to say whether blogging is dated or not?
Somehow I cannot comment on your blog via my phone (which is how I am reading most blogs these days!) I have totally downsized the amount of blogs that I read - keeping it to the ones I really enjoy. I tried to blog, but found that I just couldn't get into it - kind of like Facebook - I do that purely for my family at this point - I do enjoy Twitter - it's quick & easy - so what I am looking for at this point in my life. Blogging (reading & writing) was fun for me while Sam was a baby (he napped, I logged onto to the world of Blogs) & I think so many others have had a change in their personal lives that has made them step away from blogging - kudos to you ladies that have kept it going!!
I had to laugh becuase I too found Lisagh's blog by googling monograms!! It's official Lisagh, you are the monogram queen.
I like blogging. I go through times when I'm blogging a lot - then hardly ever. Tweeting is fun but is getting old quickly...FB got old quickly but I pop in when someone sends me a msg. I've been writing more pen to paper letters lately...I know...it's so 1910;)
In May my blog will be five years old, kinda unreal. My bloglines keeps growing though, I find new reads everyday and I am embarrassed to say just how long it is. Preppy Cafe is what opened me up to so many of you, but I too, cannot go a day without my GG fix. I really wish that she would do the live Bachelor posts, those are my favorite, but she is always up to something.
