My mother would be so disappointed.

For the first time in 10 years I didn't send out Christmas cards. I know, I know - it's shameful. If my mother still sent Christmas cards she's be so disappoint. She stopped sending them soon after my sister and I went to college.

The plan was to send Happy New Year's cards so my step-daughter could be in the picture. She didn't come to MD for Thanksgiving like she normally does and we didn't take photos while she was here in July.

I have the perfect photo selected, see? Perfect, right?

And I planned to order the cards Monday. But just before I pressed "confirm order" I got cold feet. You see, I went a little overboard on Christmas (again) and now I am in the "I don't want to spend anymore money" mode.

But I guess, what's another $150 (other than a J.Crew sweater) at this point though ?

ugh.

We didn't send out Christmas cards either. I noticed that a lot of people didn't, and I am blaming the crappy economy! On another note, the picture is completely adorable. Love the red bow on the doggie. :)

What a beautiful picture! Everyone is gorgeous including Holly! I can totally see a resemblance between your stepdaughter and your children. That's neat, you don't always see that!
