Another one of my double D's!

Friday I posted about one of my double D's - decorating delemmas and today I am posting about the other double D.

My step daughter's pepto room. As in pepto pink room. It's pink. And her bedding is pink. It's unplesant. She picked it out all by herself when she was 14. She's going to be 18. And she lives in California with her mom. And I am pretty sure she's over the PINK.

Too bad, so sad if she's not because I am. I like pink and all but not that much pink!

I can't show you the full room because it's a mess?

I am not willing to give up a weekend painting it when I have more decorating delemmas lingering in our house.

So I've decided I will change the bedding/window treatments, etc to something neutral to see if I can tone down the PINK.

Any suggestions for a neutral bedding solution?

What about just white? Add white accessories? Maybe even a white throw rug?

What about a black & white damask? Target has some cute black & white damask accessories (a lamp, curtains, not sure about bedding...) that would look cute but not "cutesy." I think black & white with the pink will make it look a little more sophisticated than the pink on pink. Personally, I like pink & navy too...more for clothes than decor though...

This might work too...if you can find it near you. Looks like it's stores only. I've only bought bedding at Traget once. It wasn't fantastic, but since she only uses it for short stretches of time it work out well.
