So we're having our guest/kids bath remodeled right now and I decided on a light purple wall - I'll call it lavender.
See?
Do you know how hard it is to find a shower curtain you like that matches a color? Hard. First of all I hate shower curtains in general. The material, the pattern, the colors -- generally give me a headache.
Target had a couple I liked but none that would go well with lavender. Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Garnet Hill, Land of Nod - were all #fails. I did find a sheet that I could have very easily made into a shower curtain from Garnet Hill but it was on back order until June... another #fail.
And then it hit me!
It hit me while I was in Home Goods buying the accessories (towel rods, trash can, tissue holder, etc) that I would go with a white waffle weave shower curtain and monogram an "N" on it. Last name begins with an "N" of course.
Two guesses what color the "N" is.

Um . . . white?? Because I love monochromatic monogramming. We have a white shower curtain too because I agree that most are too busy and headache-inducing.
